ABD Baseball Academy Sends 34 Athletes To Play In College With FieldLevel
ABD Academy, one of the elite high school club baseball programs in the country, had 34 of their baseball players commit to college baseball programs this year alone. Based in Southern California, the ABD Bulldogs feature some of the most talented baseball players in the country. Alumni of ABD currently in Major League Baseball include Allen Craig, Tyler Chatwood, Tommy Hanson, Greg Dobbs, Anthony Rizzo, and Reed Johnson.
While ABD Academy has successfully sent players to college programs and had their players drafted in the past, Head Coach and General Manager Mike Spiers turned to FieldLevel to provide more opportunities for his athletes and better exposure for his club program to college coaches. Coach Spiers couldn’t have been more pleased with FieldLevel:
“We were able to place dozens of our athletes at schools all over the country. 20 of them committed to schools from California to Iowa to Louisiana that we didn’t know would possibly be interested in our players”
Some college commitments include Georgia Tech, Cal State Fullerton, University of San Diego, Pepperdine, Lon Morris College, USC, University of Hawaii, Willamette University, and dozens more. When asked what he loved the most about FieldLevel, Coach Spiers responded:
“The search feature exposes our players to schools we never could reach before. Before FieldLevel, it was impossible to respond to all phone calls and emails from coaches interested in our players. Now, we just click a button and get all of our players’ information into the hands of every college recruiter. FieldLevel is different because college recruiters take it seriously and trust it. It’s private for only coaches and athletes”
Even though ABD was very successful at sending their players to college, they believed in continuing to get better and provide even better opportunities for their athletes. Using FieldLevel has exposed their athletes to college programs all across the country that they would have never considered previously or never knew about before. When asked what he was looking forward to the most about FieldLevel in the future, Coach Spiers replied:
“Before FieldLevel, I constantly had my phone on me. I was always looking up my players’ information to send back to college coaches. Now it’s all in one place and can be sent so quickly and easily. Sending college coaches my private assessment of my athletes was so simple. The search feature gets our athletes exposed to colleges and playing opportunities they never had before. I tell every coach to join FieldLevel. They are missing out”
FieldLevel is free for coaches and athletes. All athletes on FieldLevel are invited, certified, and assessed by their current coach. Coaches can sign up at FieldLevel.com.
